The Wichita Chinese Association is a 501(c)3 organization which works to represent and promote Chinese culture, community, and business in Wichita and surrounding areas. 
The Chinese community in Wichita has a long history. Immigration from China built a community here and later expanded with international students coming from Taiwan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong and settling down here. A new wave of professionals from China immigrated to Wichita in the 2000s.
