The majority of our members are immigrants from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries. Our mission is to introduce and to promote Chinese culture to the local community as well as to help our members to understand and appreciate American culture.

For the past 12 years, the WCA has been working closely with the local community to provide the following activities and services on a regular basis:
- Chinese New Year Celebration
- Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration
- Mother's Day Picnic
- Cooking Demostration
- Father's Day Fitness and Fun
- Variety Lectures

- Support to Area Cultural Exchange Events
Wichita Chinese Association has made significant contributions to the promotion of the Chinese culture in the local community for more than ten years. For instance, the annual Asian Festival has been recognized to be one of the most important local events in promoting cross-cultural understanding. The Wichita Chinese Language School is now the breeding ground of Chinese culture and the arts for local youths of Chinese descent. Celebration of traditional Chinese festivals and organization of picnics have provided opportunities for friendly gatherings of WCA members and non-member friends.
